In this post, we will discuss in detail about Krakacha Yoga, which is unknown to most people in the world of Vedic Astrology. You can apply the information in this post to general matters of public importance or one can choose auspicious days for important events related to individuals such as Weddings, House Warmings, Baby Shower, Business Inaugurations etc.,

Generally, everyone decides a day for conducting an important event by looking at the auspicious date & time. There are two ways to choose. One is to choose a good day, and the second is to avoid bad days. This article is more focused on the side to avoid auspicious activities on the days of Krakacha Yoga.
In Sanskrit, Krakacha is a word that almost means “saw”. Means weapon to cut or sever. That means, Krakacha Yoga has the ability to cut, separate or even destroy. Therefore, auspicious activities that are done on these days of Krakacha Yoga are more likely to end in problems.

There is a very interesting explanation as to why Krakacha Yoga is considered an inauspicious yoga.
Krakacha Yoga is defined by the number 13. What is the significance of this number?
In the Hinduism, the day when Lord Shiva consumed the cosmic poison of the universe to protect the gods happened during the Pradosha period on the 13th lunar day i.e Trayodashi. Therefore, the number 13 is not an auspicious one. Rather it indicates the poisonousness of the day. You can also note that in Tarot Readings, the number 13 represents “Death”. Not only in Hinduism, but also in Christianity, the number 13 is considered an important and often a warning number. During the last supper of Jesus Christ, the 13th disciple was the one betrayed Jesus. That is why it is believed that the sign 13 represents evilness, betrayal and death.
So how number 13 is applied in Krakacha Yoga? How to calculate Krakacha Yoga, which gives importance to the number 13?
To calculate Krakacha Yoga, you need to know the order number of the specific weekday (Vara) and orderly number of a Lunar day (Thithi). Then, add the number that you have identified for the specific weekday (Vara) and Lunar day (Thithi), if sum of the Weekday (Vara) & Lunar day (Thithi) is 13, it means that there is a Krakacha Yoga is formed on that day.
To know the orderly numbers for the Weekday (Vara) & Lunar Day (Thithi) see below table:
Week numbers:
1 Sunday
2 Monday
3 Tuesday
4 Wednesday
5 Thursday
6 Friday
7 Saturday
Tithi numbers:

For example, Tuesday, April 22, 2025, is the Dashami Tithi after 6 pm.
So
Tuesday = 3
Dasami = 10
Krakacha Yoga occurred on 22 April 2025. It was on this day that 26 tourists were killed in the Pahalgam terrorist attack in Kashmir. I had already released a warning video in February 2025 highlighting bigger dangers in mountainous regions that April and May 2025 would be the months when such great dangers would occur. It has happened as i had predicted during this period.
Another example is the New York Twin Towers attack that also occurred on the day of the beginning of the Krakacha Yoga. On Tuesday (3) evening, September 11, 2001, the NewYork Twin Tower attack occurred as the Navami Tithi was about to end and the Dashami Tithi (10) = 13 began.
Yet another example was the Bhopal gas leak on December 2, 1984 at 11 pm. The most deaths, due to the gas leak, occurred the next morning. At that time, Monday (2) + Ekadashi Tithi (11) = 13 was occurring.
These are just a few examples. Experience has shown that activities that happen on the day of the Grahacha Yoga in an individual’s life often end in problems or separation.
Therefore, when determining the auspicious time, it is best to take the Grahacha Yoga into account and determine the time for the auspicious event with the guidance of learned Astrologer.
